the winds are cold, the nights are crisp. It rains constantly, and when the sun does come out, it feels like a complete miracle. Never expect the best of the weather, but hey, this is only the beginning of a bleak future.

Packlands
Mine Shaft claimbed by; noone. currently without a name
deep into a canyon, past desolate forests and wide-stretching plains is a place, closer to human civilazation as you can get. A mine shaft, that burrows deep within steep cliffs that lead to chambers beneath. But this place has long since been abandoned, the only use of it now to keep creatures of the wilderness housed. Prey is rather scarce, and water too. When heavy rains come, the shafts get the danger of flooding, but in the cold and dry seasons its protected from the elements.
this place is sopping and soaking, sickly and runny. A strange and unusual place, with many interesting places to wander around in. In other words, this place is a swampland, and a real exotic one at that. Tall, green grasses and thick, murky water, the Old Mire is an interesting packland with something always to do. Plently of prey, although the main clearing is only protected by fallen tree stumps. Elements are often a problem, but there is hardly ever snow here in the winter. A great place, with some deformities.

Aponivi Basin
Little Pigeon River A deep, flowing river that criss-crosses through mountainsides, this is one hell of a place. Large willows grow along side this wide stretched river, while fish bobble in and out of the current. Cool and refreshing, but Little Pigeon can also be quite dangerous to the inexperienced.

Aspen Thicket Large, towering trees surrond a small clearing with dirt as soft as sand. This place is quite marvelous. Its protection from the sun and endless shade provide safetly in the summer, while its closly connected branches weave together to form a warm nest-like hideaway in the winter.

The Top of the World What a wonderful place this is! A mighty cliff towers above the basin, giving a clear view to everything below. It leaves many in awe, a gorgeous place to sit and watch the sunset. You'll always feel free here, like an eagle soaring overhead. You'll feel like your at the top of the world.

Lone Cabin An undiscovered treasure this is, a cabin built over many years ago. The roof sags with pity, the wood rots in agony. A great place to explore, and theres even a pond nearby that you can soak in. This is down in a large field, which is usually being roamed by a larger animal. Easy meals can be found here, but so can danger.

Eastern Alps Lucious, meadow after meadow this place is, a wonderful place that is cherishing to the heart. Thick with blossoms and the heavy scent of beauty, this is a place to love. It is indeed a place of beauty, where pups are born each summer.
[birthing grounds.

The Blue Ridge
Unicoi Range As far as the eye can see, these lands stretch far and wide. The golden grasses sway in the breeze, while the mountain view is almost mind-boggling. There are creatures that roam here; rabbits, kiyotes, and foxes even. Its a strange yet extrodinary place, but can you take the challenge of adventure?
Great Smoky Mountains The Great Smokies are known for their many types of trees and a great variety of flowering plants. Alcoves, and sometimes treacherous climbs can mean death, but that doesn't inclide the wide variety of bears and birds. Watch your back in these mountains, cause it might be your last.

Chillhowee Mountian These mountains aren't as large as the nearby smokies, but it favored amongst many. Spring water is a must, but threats from the human existance can change the fate of this beautiful landscape. Great scenery, full with animals of all sorts. Perfect for your average wanderer.

Snowbird Hills Rolling hills, re-occuring and almost endless. A wonderful place just to run, the feeling of freedom and escaping your heart. During the summer these hills are covered in lush, green foliage, while in the winter its coated with a blanket of white.

Eagle Peak Moorlands abundant everywhere at the top of Blue Ridge, an almost alien-like place for the rock and cragged mountains of this place. But Eagle Peak is different, the growing grass and trees, the thick flowing brambles and the trickling brook. A nice place to wait around, but the lenght to the bottom is pretty awkward.
